Built with recycled content
While you’ll love the lightweight chassis, it’s the recycled materials used in this machine that are the real delight. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 laptop is composed of 90% recycled magnesium on the keyboard frame for the Deep Black models and 22% carbon fiber on the top cover. For the Storm Grey models, the top cover and keyboard frame include 50% recycled aluminum. Both models boast 55% recycled aluminum on the bottom cover, recycled plastic enclosures for the speaker, battery, and AC adapter, plus packaging that’s plastic-free with 90% recycled and/or sustainable materials.

When you’re out on the road, you never know what the connectivity situation will be, or whether you’ll find an available electrical outlet. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 laptop keeps you covered in both regards. Blazing-fast WiFi keeps you online when wireless coverage is available—but if you’re out of range, you can connect just like a smartphone when you choose the WWAN* configuration. What’s more, with the large battery and rapid-charging technology, there’s little need to be tethered to an outlet. No matter where your business takes you, you’ll always be business-ready.

Use your phone through your laptop
With Intel® Unison™, you can put your laptop at the center of all that you do. Wirelessly connect your phone—either Android or iOS—to your ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 laptop. Transfer files quickly and easily, even edit your photos and videos seamlessly on the big screen. Make and answer calls directly from your PC, with full access to your phone’s contact list. You can even receive notifications on your laptop, as well as messaging. No need to switch devices when you can do it all in one place.
Military-grade durability
We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops. We test against 12 standards and more than 200 quality checks to ensure they run in extreme conditions. These tests cover harsh variables like Arctic wilderness and desert dust storms, including temperature, pressure, humidity, vibration, and more.
Smarter security solutions
ThinkShield, our comprehensive suite of security solutions, is integral to our ThinkPad laptops. Discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) encrypts your data. Optional Human-presence detection works with the optional infrared camera to automatically lock your device when you move away. Biometrics provide extra protection on the ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 laptop— from the optional fingerprint reader integrated with the power button to the facial recognition software that works with the optional IR camera. And Intel vPro® on select models helps prevent attacks on the OS, login credentials, and more.
